The Family

Giorgos Kitos

An agriculturalist-farmer since 1987, cultivating cotton and pistachio trees, and conducting experimental trials in grape cultivation and winemaking.

In 2001, defying the prevailing wisdom of the time, he planted a vineyard in the plains, possessing knowledge of soil drainage and the significant day-night temperature difference (20 degrees Celsius), which he knew favors the cultivation of red wine grapes. The results compensated him, and thus in 2009, with the consent of his sons (Christos and Elias), he planted 15 stremmata [approx. 1.5 hectares or 3.7 acres] with the goal of small production and exceptional quality.

To this day, the goal remains the same, believing ‘that the dream is everything.

Dina Kitou

1997 was a landmark year because our journey on the wine road began.

Giorgos and I tasted 360 bottles a year until 2001, when we planted our first small vineyard around our home. Varieties? Whatever we liked: Syrah, Cabernet, Merlot.

The first vinification, a Bordeaux blend, in 2004 yielded excellent results, and thus began our journey into the mysterious world of wine.

Elias Kitos

The second generation of winemakers, my first contact with wines was at a very young age, watching my parents and observing the smile and pleasure they felt every time they tasted.

As I grew up, my curiosity was piqued to learn the process and the mystery of wine production from vine to bottle, with my father Giorgos Kitos as my mentor.

Christos Kitos

The firstborn son of the Kitos family. From a very young age, I grew up on the estates with the cotton and pistachio trees, which are also my favorites.

My contact with the vineyard came at a very young age, learning alongside my father and also attending viticulture seminars, which fascinates me. The future is ours!!!
